I had an assignment revolving around a space-ship in a solar-system. Since I am not used to painting something like that, I wanted to get some head-start.
I love John Berkey's work, that guy was such a beast. So I did some composition-deconstructions and studied his color-relationships.
This is more of an exercise in how-to-paint something like a space-cloud evolving around a singularity (a black hole for instance). This taught me what brush to use in the final painting.
This is my blog.
I will share information about workflow, my insights into image-making or just general thoughts and rants about being an artist.
