after listening to the great Mike Azevedo I decided to follow his advice and do a sketch after doing a study. It is meant to stay in the memory better and I think he is right.
So here is a 1h study and a 1 h painting from memory.
If you don't know Mike Azevedo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a_Si9LejaI

Follow him, study him, he is a beast.
I am practicing blockin in a face with as few lines as possible, while still containing the likeness. Not as easy as it sounds and I still have a lot of practicing a"head" of me.
Practicing landscape shape-block-ins too.
Lastly I did a portrait-drawing of a friends child. I hope you like it and I use it to do some PR now.
If you are interested in me doing a portrait for you, just send me a photo and an email. Prices range from 50 to 150 Euro, depending on the size.
This is my blog.
I will share information about workflow, my insights into image-making or just general thoughts and rants about being an artist.
